Whether you have been in church your entire life or are stepping into a sanctuary for the very first time, we want you to know that you are welcome here.
Lutheran worship is centered on Jesus Christ and His gifts to us. Rather than focusing on what we do for God, our worship is first about what God does for us. Through His Word, through prayer, through singing, and through the Sacraments, God comes to forgive, strengthen, and encourage His people with the good news of His love in Christ.
Our worship follows a historic pattern that Christians have used for centuries. You will hear readings from the Bible, join in prayers and hymns from the organ or our Praise Band, confess the Christian faith through the creeds, and listen to a sermon that applies God's Word to everyday life.
You may notice that our services include times when the congregation stands, sits, and responds together. Don't worry if you're unfamiliar with these practices—there is no expectation that you already know what to do. Simply participate as you feel comfortable. Our worship folder guides you through the service, and those around you will gladly help if you have questions.
The music in our services ranges from beloved Lutheran hymns to other Christ-centered songs faithfully led by our Praise Band, always chosen to proclaim God's Word and lead us in joyful praise. Every part of the service is intentionally focused on Christ—His saving work, His promises, and His presence among His people.
Above all, we pray that when you worship with us, you leave knowing that Jesus Christ came for you. Whatever burdens you carry, whatever questions you have, whatever your past may be, you will hear the unchanging message that your Savior loves you, died for your sins, rose again to give you eternal life, and continues to meet you with His mercy and peace.
