At our church, everything we believe, teach, and do is centered on Jesus Christ and His saving work for the world. As a congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), we believe that God loves all people and desires everyone to know the forgiveness, hope, and eternal life found in His Son.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is God's inspired and trustworthy Word. It is the final authority for what we believe and how we live. Through the Scriptures, God reveals His love, His plan of salvation, and His promises for His people.
God
We believe in one God who exists eternally as three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
God the Father created and continues to care for all things.
God the Son, Jesus Christ, became fully human while remaining fully God. He lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and will come again in glory.
God the Holy Spirit creates and strengthens faith through God's Word and Sacraments and empowers Christians to live lives of love and service.
Salvation
We believe that all people are sinners and cannot earn God's forgiveness or favor by their own efforts. Salvation is God's free gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Because of Christ's death and resurrection, everyone who trusts in Him has forgiveness of sins, peace with God, and the promise of everlasting life.
Word and Sacraments
God comes to His people through His means of grace.
In Holy Baptism, God gives the forgiveness of sins, creates faith, and makes us His own children.
In Holy Communion, we receive the true body and blood of Jesus Christ, together with the bread and wine, for the forgiveness of sins, the strengthening of faith, and the assurance of God's promises.
Through the preaching and teaching of God's Word, the Holy Spirit creates and sustains faith.
The Christian Life
Faith in Christ changes our lives. We seek to love God and serve our neighbors—not to earn salvation, but in grateful response to God's love. Christians continue to struggle with sin, yet daily receive God's forgiveness and strength to live according to His will.
The Church
The Church is the community of all who believe in Jesus Christ. God gathers His people around His Word and Sacraments to receive His gifts, grow in faith, encourage one another, and share the Good News of Jesus with the world.
Our Lutheran Heritage
As a congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, our teachings are drawn from the Holy Scriptures and faithfully summarized in the Lutheran Confessions found in the Book of Concord. We are committed to proclaiming Christ crucified and risen for the forgiveness of sins and the salvation of all who believe.
